Why Back Links To Your Website Are Important
Senior Analysts from Google have openly stated that their ranking algorithm for how they display the ranking positions are based on two main factors; Content on your website and the Back Links linking to your website.
Any webmaster will be able to control their on-page SEO content and make sure it is rich in content, whether this is images, video or text provided the on-page content complies with the quality guidelines set out by Google then there is no reason as to why they will rank your website in their index*.
*This is a controllable factor unless your website is hacked.
Now if Google has openly stated that their ranking algorithm is based on links then it is imperative that we as a link building SEO company incorporate link building that adheres to their guidelines
What does that mean?
Well, if we are working for a client then we do not in any way want to damage a client's website by getting the website penalised by Google. We take a risk-based approach to building links to the client's website, based on how aggressive the client wants to be with their link building and how far they have come already with their links.
We use a number of resources that help us find as many links as possible that our client's competitors have and we aim to duplicate them. Making sure that there are not any spammy links that could damage our client's websites in the longer term.
